Installing Visual Studio Code from the Microsoft app store

  1. Go to the Visual Studio Code page at the Micofrot app store:
    https://apps.microsoft.com/detail/XP9KHM4BK9FZ7Q

  2. Select the Get or Install button.

  3. Wait for the download to finish; it will automatically install.

  4. Once installed, click Open to launch the app.

Installing Visual Studio Code with the installer from the official Visual Studio Code website

  1. Go to the Visual Studio Code page at the official Docker website:
    https://code.visualstudio.com/download

  2. Download the Visual Studio Code installer

  3. Follow the instructions; wait for the install to finish.

  4. Once installed, click Open to launch the app.

  5. Find and open Visual Studio Code from the Start button on your taskbar.
